The Vilix dashboard at app.getvilix.com is where you can see what Vilix has remembered, search across every AI tool you use, manage your plan, and export or delete your data at any time.
This page walks through the app screen by screen, in the order you’ll naturally meet them. If you’re looking for how to connect an AI tool to Vilix, that lives on the Get started page and in the MCP docs — this guide is about the dashboard itself.
Signing in
Open app.getvilix.com. You’ll land on the login screen (“Log in to Vilix App.”) with two ways to sign in:
- Continue with Google — opens the Google account picker so you can choose which account to use. Useful if you have more than one Google account.
- Continue with Email — type your email and Vilix sends you a one-click sign-in link. You’ll see a confirmation: “Check {your email} for a sign-in link.” Open the email, click the link, and you’re in.
No passwords to manage. If you ever need to switch accounts, just sign out — the Google picker will appear again the next time.
Finishing onboarding
The first time you sign in, Vilix asks you to answer a short feedback survey. This isn’t a settings wizard — it’s how the team learns what to build next. You can change answers later.
The flow is six steps, with a progress bar at the top showing “Step X of 6” and a percentage. The questions are:
- What’s your biggest frustration with AI?
- Which AI tools do you use?
- Where should memories be stored?
- What’s your primary use case?
- What matters most to you?
- Anything you wish AI could remember better? (optional free text)
Use ← Back and Continue → to move between steps. On the last step, the button becomes Finish. When you’re done you’ll land on a success screen — “Onboarding complete.” — with two buttons:
- Open dashboard — start using Vilix
- Review onboarding answers — go back and change anything
The dashboard at a glance
The dashboard (/dashboard) is titled Your AI memory. From top to bottom you’ll see:
- A billing banner — only appears when something needs your attention (free-trial countdown, payment past due, subscription ending). If you don’t see one, you’re all set.
- Status card — “Vilix memory is active” with a green dot, plus a count of how many conversations and memories Vilix has stored for you.
- Plan tile — your current plan (Free, Trial, or Vilix Pro), the renewal or end date, and a button to upgrade or manage billing.
- Recent conversations — a table of your most recent conversations across every connected tool, with the title, platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, …), last activity date, and message count. Click any title to open it. If there are more, Next page appears at the bottom.
- Search — covered in its own section below.
If you don’t see any conversations yet, you’ll get a hint: “No conversations yet. Connect an AI tool from Get Started ↗ to begin.” Follow that link to wire up your first tool.
Opening a conversation
Click any row in the recent conversations table (or any search result) to open a conversation page.
You’ll see a header card with the conversation title, platform, when it started, last activity, and how many messages it has. Use ← Back to dashboard in the top-left to return.
Below the header is a single action:
- Reprocess conversation — re-runs Vilix’s indexing on every message in this conversation. Use this if a conversation looks like it didn’t get picked up properly by search. After clicking you’ll see a confirmation like “Scheduled reprocessing for {N} messages.”
The full message thread view is marked “Coming soon” — for now, to find a specific turn inside a conversation, use Open Messages search → which jumps you to the dashboard’s Messages tab.
Searching your memory
The Search section on the dashboard is the fastest way to find something specific. It has two tabs:
- Conversations — finds whole conversations matching your query.
- Messages — finds individual messages.
You can combine the text search with filters:
- Platform dropdown — limit to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any other tool you’ve connected (default: All platforms).
- From / To date pickers — narrow to a date range.
Click Search to run it, or Clear to reset.
What the results look like:
- In the Conversations tab, each result shows the platform · date, the conversation title, and a short snippet of the best-matching message. Click a card to open the conversation.
- In the Messages tab, each result shows the platform · role · date, the message snippet, an Open conversation → link, and a View full message disclosure. Expand it to read the whole message and, if you want, Delete message to remove that single turn from Vilix.
Search is great for “what was that thing I told Claude last week about the database migration?” — it works across every tool you’ve connected.
Exporting your data
Go to Account (/account) → Your data → the Export card.
Click Export all data. The button changes to “Preparing export…” and a file downloads to your computer — vilix-export-{timestamp}.ndjson. It contains every conversation, message, and memory Vilix has stored about you, in a structured format you can keep or re-import elsewhere.
Exporting only touches your Vilix copy. The conversations inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other tools stay where they are — Vilix doesn’t reach into them.
Deleting your data
Same page — Account → Your data → the red Delete all data card.
This permanently removes every conversation, memory, and token from Vilix. It cannot be undone.
The flow:
- Click Delete all data.
- A confirmation popup appears: “Delete all your Vilix data?”
- Type DELETE into the text field — the Permanently delete button stays disabled until you do.
- Click Permanently delete (or Cancel to back out).
- Vilix wipes everything and signs you out.
If you change your mind, you can always sign back in and start fresh — but anything that was there before will be gone for good.
Your plan and billing
Your plan and any billing action lives in two places: the Plan & billing tile on both the dashboard and the Account page, and (when needed) a banner across the top of those pages.
The three plan states:
- Free — using Vilix on the free tier. The tile shows an Upgrade button, and the Account page also shows a pricing card.
- Trial — on a 3-day free trial of Vilix Pro. The banner counts down (e.g. “3 days left in your Vilix Pro trial.”) and includes an Upgrade button.
- Vilix Pro — active paid plan. The tile shows your next renewal date and a Manage billing button.
If a Pro subscription falls into trouble (Payment past due, Incomplete, Canceled), a banner appears with Manage billing so you can fix it.
Upgrading:
On the Account page, the Vilix Pro pricing card shows what you get for $19.99 / month:
- Persistent memory across AI platforms
- Cross-platform context retrieval
- Searchable memory history
- Export or delete data anytime
Click Upgrade to Vilix Pro to open Stripe checkout in your browser. Pay there, and Stripe sends you back to a confirmation page:
- Success — “Thanks for upgrading to Vilix Pro.” It can take a few seconds for your plan to flip. If it still says Trial or Free, give the page a refresh. Stripe also emails you a receipt.
- Cancelled — “Checkout cancelled. No charge was made.” You can upgrade anytime from your account.
Managing an existing Pro subscription:
Click Manage billing on the plan tile or banner. You’ll be taken to Stripe’s customer portal where you can update your card, change your plan, see receipts, or cancel.
Signing out and switching accounts
Use the Account entry in the top navigation to get to your account page, then sign out from there. The next time you visit app.getvilix.com you’ll see the login screen.
Because Vilix forces the Google account picker on sign-in, you can switch to a different Google account on your next visit without anything cached from the previous one.
